May your efforts in the Sidra Blockchain Network be a source of ongoing reward and barakah.
I am reaching out with deep concern as a committed member and promoter of the Sidra community. It pains me to say that Sidra appears to be drifting away from its foundational values and mission particularly its commitment to Islamic financial ethics and community-oriented transparency.
There is a growing sentiment of disillusionment within the community. The silence of the Sidra core team in the face of continuous cries and pleas from community members is deeply troubling. Most notably, the GLN Property Chain project entrusted with over 8.7 million SDA in contributions has seen no action, no communication, and no launch over two months since the contribution round closed, we want to know the fate of the project.
The team behind GLN has been subjected to ongoing threats, insults, and emotional distress from contributors who feel abandoned. Despite their repeated efforts, they are unable to establish any line of communication with the Sidra core team. This situation is not isolated over 40+ projects have completed their contribution circles and have since been ignored, with zero visibility into next steps or timelines.
Brother Mohammed, this silence is not just detrimental it is dangerous. In blockchain, transparency is a currency. When it disappears, trust follows. Families, friends, and communities who believed in us—who we convinced with great effort to support Sidra are now questioning everything. The integrity of the entire project is being called into question, and many of us on the ground look suspicious in our own circles.
For a project rooted in Islamic principles, this trajectory is alarming. The lack of accountability and transparency risks violating core Islamic financial ethics. We must not allow mismanagement or silence to compromise what Sidra stands for.
I humbly urge you to step in, investigate these concerns, and bring clarity and justice to all parties involved. The earlier this is addressed, the better it will be for all of us before irreversible damage is done to Sidra’s reputation and vision.
